Events in recent years have made us all too familiar with the havoc that natural disasters can wreak, and the increasing frequency and intensity with which they are occurring. Despite record levels of losses, conventional methods of risk modeling continue to paint at best an incomplete picture of these threats.

ZestyAI ingests novel data sources such as high-resolution aerial imagery, building permits, real estate transaction data, and leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce unique insights about risks to properties and communities from natural catastrophes like wildfire and severe convective storms. ZestyAI provides customers in insurance, real estate, financial services, and government sectors with valuable intelligence that helps communities better prepare for and navigate catastrophes.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee proof-of-concept (POC) data quality assurance processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
• Process and validate datasets through ZestyAI workflows, resolving anomalies before analytics.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot data processing errors.
• Interface with clients to establish and facilitate secure data transfer, validation, and processing for analytics.
• Maintain project tracking and deliverables using Monday.com, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and data operations efficiency.
• Support the development of executive content by preparing visualizations and summaries for Board presentations.
• Coordinate timelines and manage expectations with internal stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Utilize tools such as Excel, Python, BigQuery, and PowerPoint for data processing, analysis, automation, and reporting.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics or quality assurance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with BigQuery and Python
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results promptly

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the insurance industry (P&C preferred)
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools like PowerBI or Looker Studio
• Familiarity with Geospatial software such as ArcGIS
• Automation experience to streamline processes
