Job summary

Ben-Mor Cables Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a Rigging And Wire Rope Technician to splice cables, manufacture wire rope slings, and operate hydraulic presses on-site. Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will follow procedures and meet production deadlines while ensuring quality.

The role requires reading measurements in imperial and metric, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a team. A high school diploma is required; cable splicing experience is an asset.

• Inspect products (compliance / strength) according to internal and external customer requirements.
• Inform the supervisor of any non‑conformities or equipment damage.
• Participate in the training of new employees.

Your role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for splicing cables and manufacturing wire rope slings according to required specifications, while adhering to work procedures and deadlines. The person also operates hydraulic presses.

Your Responsibilities
