Job summary

Adamson Associates Architects in Toronto is seeking a Revit Coordinator to join project teams across Ontario. You will produce high‑standard Revit construction drawings and coordinate BIM workflows.

You will maintain model health, manage exchanges, resolve BIM issues, and support senior BIM Manager to enforce the BIM Execution Plan, while aligning schedules with PMs.

The Toronto office of Adamson Associates Architects has opportunities available for a Revit Coordinator to work on various Ontario based projects. The successful candidates will work with project teams to produce high standard Revit construction drawings.

BIM/Revit Coordination tasks:

• Maintain healthy model environment as per Company standards
• Prepare clean incoming and outgoing model exchange
• Resolve BIM issues
• Ongoing Revit family creation
• Work with PM’s and Senior BIM Manager to enforce and ensure team members adhere to the BXP (BIM Execution Plan)
• Set up folder and project access and permissions for the project
• Review graphic standards
• Work closely with PMs to help determine accurate timelines for assigned tasks of team members
• Assist with modelling complicated portions of the project
• Upgrading the Revit skills of team members to ensure team efficiency
• Model origin, coordinate system, and units
• Create file storage location(s)
• Manage processes for transferring and accessing Model files
• Create model(s) coordination reports
• Collect incoming models
• Coordinate submission and exchange of model
• Narrative report of changes/modifications during model exchanges
• Provide a general review that files are complete and usable in compliance with template protocols
• Maintain BIM archives and back-ups. The Revit Coordinator shall produce a Model Archive at the end of each Project Phase and shall preserve the Model Archive as a record that may not be altered for any reason

Additional Architectural Tasks (if applicable to project):

• Assemble construction drawing sets from schematic design through to construction administration in REVIT, including: site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall details, etc.
• Work with current design techniques, building systems, and keep current with design trends, code changes, and developments to sustain and improve technical and design skills
• Prepare client presentation materials, design development documentation, construction documentation, contract administration and Authority submissions on a wide variety of projects under guidance from senior architects

Salary Range $80,000 + (Commensurate with experience)
