Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a customer service professional in Edmonton to provide product information, handle warranties, process credits, and manage returns. You will engage with customers in person, over the phone or by email, building strong relationships and helping keep the counter stocked.

Experience in wholesale or distribution and knowledge of HVAC/plumbing are assets; proficiency with Microsoft Office is required and AS400 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution.
• Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing is an asset.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office; AS400 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner.
• Answer questions about warranties and returns and process credits.
• Move returned products back into the warehouse and respond to customers via phone or email.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates and maintain counter stock.
• Assist in the warehouse when needed.

What you will do:

• As the first point of contact you will be required to offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner
• Answer questions about warranties and returns
• Process credits and return to vendor products
• Moving returned products back into the warehouse
• Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or email
• Responsible for building positive relationships with customers and associates
• Take initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as needed
• Offer help and assistance in the warehouse if required

What you will bring:

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution required
• Local market knowledge with HVAC and Plumbing will be an asset
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Experience with AS400 an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
• Previous warehouse/ forklift experience is an asset
