Job summary

Wolseley Canada is hiring for a warehouse associate to load/unload, receive shipments, and prepare customer orders for shipping, supporting timely deliveries and strong customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must be dependable and reliable; willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
