Job summary

Designer Brands Canada is seeking a part-time Supervisor for our DSW banner in Newmarket, Ontario. This role focuses on leading by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain product knowledge, and drive store performance while upholding brand standards.

You will coach team members, foster collaboration, manage shifts (including closing and weekends), and ensure open communication with the Store Manager.

• Assumes a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional Customer experiences.
• Maintains exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge
• Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive Customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty
• Coaches and provides feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success
• Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
• Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
• Open & closes the store proficiently
