Job Summary

We are seeking a French Bilingual Insurance Agent who will report to the Supervisor, Customer Service. The Bilingual Insurance Agent is responsible for assisting customers by providing information about products and/or services, answering questions, and resolving problems and issues. This role can expect 5-10% of their communications to take place in French, with the remainder in English.

Job Location: Remote – Oakville, Ontario

Pay Range: $40,900-50,000 / annum

Main Responsibilities

  1. Respond to internal and external inquiries within stated service level agreements.
  2. Manage incoming contacts regarding members' questions, customer complaints, products, warranties, and general customer inquiries in accordance with quality and processing guidelines.
  3. Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies for member accounts.
  4. Maintain product knowledge, and awareness of customer service policies, and/or store policies.
  5. If applicable, maintain understanding of federal and state regulations to include compliance.
  6. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. 2 years customer service, call center, or relevant experience.
  2. Must have and maintain OTL License or must obtain within 45 days of hire.
  3. Proficiency in both English and French - reading, writing, and speaking both languages smoothly and without hesitation.
