Job summary

RICARDOS CONVENIENCE is seeking a supervisor to manage retail exhibition activities in Nova Scotia. You will supervise staff, hire and train personnel, and authorize payments by cheque to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves planning and developing permanent and temporary exhibits for museum displays, trade shows, and retail spaces, as well as organizing inventory and scheduling. Excellent teamwork and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of supervising staff and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, interns, designers, etc.).
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Authorize payments by cheque.
• Plan and develop permanent and temporary or movable exhibits for museum exhibitions, trade shows, retail spaces and other exhibitions.
• Order merchandise.
• Establish work schedules.

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
• Conduct performance reviews.
