Job Overview

Our retail Cannabis Retail Store Manager (SM) is vital to delivering a distinctive shopping experience. The SM is responsible for collaborating with company management to manage, maintain, and supervise daily retail operations at the store location.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Associate Support: Hire, supervise, and motivate staff; ensure all employees have valid CannSell licenses; coach and train team members; maintain SOPs; build staff schedules; resolve team conflicts; achieve high retention and engagement scores; lead by example in a high-volume environment.
2. Sales and Customer Service: Manage customer feedback and complaints; implement improvements; execute sales strategies; analyze sales reports; track employee and store performance; utilize incentives; meet or exceed revenue and review goals.
3. Daily Store Operations: Ensure compliance with regulations; perform opening/closing procedures; oversee security, reporting, and cash management; manage inventory; maintain store facilities; ensure stock levels; conduct audits; handle deliveries; maintain communication logs; uphold HR policies; ensure a clean, organized environment; possess proficiency in Microsoft Office; hold a valid Cannabis Retail Store Manager license or be able to obtain one; pass background checks; demonstrate management experience (5-6+ years); have knowledge of cannabis products, laws, and regulations; be organized, flexible, and proactive; exhibit leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
