Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a Store Leader to manage a high-volume Calgary store. You will lead a team of assistant store leaders, team leads and advisors, partnering with all areas of the business and vendors.

You will coach and develop your team, ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals while maintaining store KPIs, inventory health, safety, and profitability. Expect to commute to multiple Calgary locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading a large hospitality or retail team (50+ associates).
• 5+ years managing operating expenses and revenue.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in high-volume store.
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment.
• Must be able to commute to Calgary locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the store, leading a team and partnering with all business areas and vendors.
• Motivate, coach, develop and inspire team to help customers find the right product or service.
• Cultivate an inclusive learning culture while maintaining high performance.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee all aspects of our store, from leading a team of assistant store leaders, team leads and advisors to partnering with all areas of the business, and vendors
• Motivate, coach, develop and inspire your team to help customers find the perfect product or service
• Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun!
• Oversee store KPI's (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health and safety)
• Maintain a healthy profit and loss

The first store(s) you will be placed in are Deerfoot Meadows or Sunridge.

In this role you will be placed permanently in any of our Calgary store locations (eg: Calgary 17th Avenue, Deerfoot Meadows, Northland, Shawnessy, Sunridge and Westhills Calgary) and ability to commute to those locations is required.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience leading a hospitality or retail team of at least 50 associates in a fast-paced and high-volume location
• 5+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
• The first store(s) you will be placed in are Deerfoot Meadows or Sunridge and ability to commute to those locations is required
