Job summary

Kibbi is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will assist the Store Manager with staff management, merchandising, customer service, and achieving sales goals.

The role requires at least two years in retail and supervisory experience, with open availability including days, evenings, and weekends. You will help train staff, manage cash, and uphold safety and standards while providing leadership to the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability including day, evening, weekend.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
