Job summary

Canna Cabana, located in Morden, Manitoba, is seeking a Retail Shift Leader to guide a high-performing team. You will recruit, train, and coach staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain an inviting, well-merchandised store.

You’ll oversee operations, merchandizing standards, and community engagement while supporting a fast-growing cannabis retailer. The role requires leadership experience, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have or quickly obtain Smart Choices certification.
• Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and at least 1-2 years retail supervisory experience.
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Experience with similar brands/products is an asset.
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
• Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A passion for customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must already have, or be able to quickly obtain, Smart Choices certification

• Demonstrated leadership skills and at least 1- 2 years’ retail supervisory experience

• Experience working with similar brands/products (not necessary, but an asset)
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
• Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday.
• Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A passion for customer service excellence
