Responsibilities:

The Loss Prevention Supervisor will support the Security Management by leading, developing, and supporting the security team members to meet and/or exceed the mission of the Global Protection Department; to promote and support the protection of the employees, clients, and assets of our company and to elevate the Tiffany store experience.

In partnership with the Security Managers, this role supports all security related business needs to protect company assets, employees, and clients. The supervisor is a dynamic, attentive, and inspiring leader who builds relationships with internal and external partners; someone who could be called a mentor, a coach, and is the location(s) security subject matter expert. This role is responsible for leading the security team to provide a positive Tiffany experience from beginning to end. As a member of the retail store team, the role shares responsibility to ensure that the store achieves the highest levels of safety, profitability, and service.

Security
  1. Ensure Global Protection Standards are maintained.
  2. Lead and motivate the security team(s) to consistently focus on the main drivers of security culture such as MPS, door coverage, employee awareness training and safety.
  3. Partner with Operations and Security Management to identify shrink reduction opportunities.
  4. Optimize security schedules to maximize coverage during peak hours, events, overnight coverage, facilities support etc. Partnering with Security Management.
  5. Support Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management efforts (Tiffany Prepared) including serving as the point person during an emergency.
Physical Security
  1. In close partnership with the Security Manager, ensure the physical security systems and equipment are functioning to expectations.
  2. Ensure that all physical security systems and maintenance schedules are to standard including CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, keys, perimeter doors / gates, etc. Initiate and follow up on all repairs as necessary.
  3. Conduct vulnerability evaluations or other tasks as directed by the Security Management.
Sales and Service Excellence
  1. Deepen the relationship with our clients to drive lifetime loyalty and overall spend.
  2. Manage security team to act as a Tiffany luxury security professional with a customer eccentric approach.
  3. Partner with store management to lead store initiatives and cross functionality which provides an elevated/exceptional client experience.
  4. Coach staff to enhance the customer experience by acknowledging clients as they enter and leave the store, providing each customer with a consistent and gracious greeting.
  5. Project a professional and calm demeanor while dealing with clients and employees regardless of the situation.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  1. Valid Security License.
  2. High School Diploma
  3. Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  4. Highest level of integrity.
  5. Ability to communicate with customers and employees both verbally and written.
  6. Strong computer skills
  7. Must be available to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  8. A sense of urgency that will lead to quick identification of problems and appropriate action.
  9. An openness and ability to approach people and problems which will foster a spirit of cooperation and participation from all individuals toward a common goal.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work with geographically remote individuals.
  11. Must have authorization to work in Canada or in the country where the position is based.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a retail/security environment.
  2. One - two years prior experience in a security related position with an emphasis on customer service
