Description

We are currently recruiting for a results-oriented Retail Representative to represent our clients.

This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your retail sales experience strategically through developing direct sales, merchandising, and POS placement. As part of our sales team, you will call on clients in the Grocery, Gas & Convenience Retail Channel to communicate and execute sales, merchandising strategies, promotions, and guidelines. Your responsibilities include driving results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, supplying product information, and ensuring product dominance and distribution.

Excellent communication and sales skills, enthusiasm, and superior presentation abilities are essential. You should be highly organized, a natural problem solver, and skilled at building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales merchandising coverage and manage retail special projects within your assigned territory, executing our client’s priorities to achieve superior in-store results.
• Use handheld reporting tools.
• Manage new item placement and maintain 100% distribution of existing items.
• Ensure compliance with shelving guidelines and plan-o-grams.
• Conduct pricing audits.
• Build displays and place point-of-sale materials.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.
• Negotiate product placement.
• Communicate client information and promote sales promotions.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in a territory is preferred.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record; able to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs, stand, bend, and reach regularly.
• Strong relationship-building and persuasive communication skills.
• Fluent in FRENCH.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Proficient with digital technology (handheld devices, cameras, etc.).
• Ability to drive for extended periods.
• Capacity to store sample products and racking.
• Access to high-speed internet.
