CGIC, a leading Canadian financial services co‑operative, seeks a Manager, Retail Sales to drive annual sales, client growth and policy renewals. You lead Advisors who run their own businesses and build trusted relationships with their teams for sustainable results.

This role emphasizes coaching, performance management and business planning with Advisors across commercial, farm, home, auto, life and wealth lines. Strong data skills and knowledge of insurance/financial products are essential.

Qualifications

• General Insurance, Life and Mutual Fund licenses required or to be attained within 6 months.
• CFP or CLU designations to be attained within an agreed time frame.
• Ability to develop and implement sales performance strategies aligned to goals.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with Advisors through proactive partnership.
• Proficiency in using data sources and reporting to provide market insights.
• Strong understanding of P&C, life, wealth, farm and commercial lines.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual sales, client growth and policy renewal targets.
• Provide leadership and support to Advisors who own their own business.
• Create high-performance culture by aligning work with organizational goals.
• Coach Advisors on joint sales and case consultations across lines of business.
• Partner with planning teams to drive semi-annual business planning with Advisors.
