Job summary

RattleSnake Point Golf Club in Milton, Ontario is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to join our Golf Operations team. You’ll help members and guests with merchandise, apparel, and gift items, process sales at the POS, and keep shop displays neat and welcoming.

We value customer service, teamwork, and a passion for golf. Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability is a must; training is provided for golf knowledge and product lines.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• Good communication and rapport-building with members and guests.
• Passion for golf and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Assist with merchandise purchases and gift items.
• Process sales and daily transactions through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Check in golfers and help with tee time inquiries.
• Maintain attractive merch displays and keep the shop clean and stocked.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Golf Operations team. Whether you're an experienced retail professional or someone with a passion for golf and exceptional customer service skills, this is an opportunity to work in a premier golf club environment where member and guest experiences come first.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for many of our members and guests. You'll help golfers prepare for a great day on the course by assisting with merchandise purchases, checking in golfers, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the Golf Shop.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Assist golfers with the purchase of apparel, footwear, accessories, golf equipment, and gift items.
• Recommend merchandise based on customer needs and preferences.
• Process retail sales and daily transactions through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Check in golfers and assist with tee time inquiries.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure the Golf Shop remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Receive and replenish inventory, assist with pricing, and support merchandising initiatives.
• Promote new arrivals, seasonal merchandise, club events, and retail promotions.
• Support daily golf operations to ensure an exceptional member and guest experience.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience required.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Interest in golf, golf apparel, and sporting goods retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with members and guests.
• Comfortable working with POS systems and handling transactions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Golf knowledge is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
