Job summary

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to ensure guests have a memorable experience through the purchase of keepsakes and attraction products. You will operate a POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions while reporting to the Retail Supervisor and Retail Manager.

Shifts vary as the venue operates 365 days a year; you must be regularly available for any shift. The pay rate is $19.06 per hour and the role supports a dynamic, guest-focused team.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Previous sales experience is an asset.
• Prior cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all aspects of operating and marinating the retail store and merchandise to the highest standards.
• Accurately complete all sales transactions.
• Assist in stocking merchandise on the sales floor.
• Retrieve inventory from the off-site stockroom as needed.
• Assist in ticketing merchandise.
• Accurately count merchandise as needed, and participate in annual inventory and regular inventory counting.
• Assist in maintaining sales floor neatness and cleanliness.
