Job summary

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is seeking a part-time Photo Port Associate to deliver world-class guest service while helping guests capture memorable photos with themed backgrounds. The role involves operating a POS system, handling cash and card transactions, and driving sales of souvenirs.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced attraction open year-round.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with sales is an asset.
• 1-2 years of experience as a staff photographer in the Attractions/Amusement industry preferred.
• Prior experience with point of sales system is an asset.
• Must be confident to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and offer them the opportunity to take home a ‘fintastic’ photo.
• Direct guests to the photo port location to view and purchase their pictures.
• Assist with all picture and accessory purchases.
• Maintain counts and receipts for individual cash drawers.
• Provide excellent Guest service and assist in achieving optimal sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
