The mission of the Retail Sales Team is to provide outstanding service to our customers and become ambassadors for the MOE’s brand.
Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, the Design Consultant will bring their passion, eye for design, and genuine desire to help our customers transform their homes, while exceeding sales expectations in a strong team environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service by exemplifying world-class service standards.
- Maximize company sales growth and profitability using creative selling skills, teamwork, and customer service, delivering an engaging experience to every customer, every time.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase profitability.
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits and remain up to date with our growing array of products.
- Motivate self to stay accountable to individual sales and service goals, as determined by store management.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospect for new customers.
- Support and actively utilize customer acquisition methods available to the store.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation and signage.
- Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all associates.
- Associates are required to perform other related functions as assigned.
- Help with furniture moves.
- Keep the parking lot clear of debris.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store manager.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required.
- At least one year in a customer service role; retail experience preferred.
- Self-efficient, organized, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional language an asset), and good arithmetic skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; team player with an upbeat and helpful attitude.
- Enjoys the challenge of multitasking and working with more than one set of customers at a time.
- Ability to move/lift to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends.

Pay range for this role is $20-$30 per hour inclusive of commission.
