Job summary

PUMA Group is seeking a customer-focused retail team member for its Ottawa store. You will provide high standards of service, drive sales and KPI attainment, and ensure accurate checkout transactions while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, follow brand guidelines and policies, and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience is preferred, with MS Office skills advantageous.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in customer service retail (apparel/footwear preferred).
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and use MS Office.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of customer experience at the Store in line with brand values and service standards.
  • Through effective service, meet or exceed sales, KPI and profitability targets.
  • Process sales transactions at checkout accurately, securely and quickly.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and order according to visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Execute and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Comply with policies, core competencies and key accountabilities; maintain a safe working/shopping environment.

YOUR MISSION
  • Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards
  • Through effective customer service, individual performance consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability targets
  • Responsible for accurately processing sales transactions at checkout, securely and quickly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the store as well as compliance with all visual merchandising guidelines according to PUMA standards
  • Responsible for the execution and processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise
  • Required to comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required in this position
YOUR TALENT
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
  • Strong team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of computer skills, basic know-how about MS Office programs
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly

The base pay for this position is $17.60-$20.60 + Benefits
