Job summary

PUMA Group in Mississauga is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the store level, uphold brand standards and support daily operations.

You will process sales at checkout, assist with merchandising, handle stock, and work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail customer service, are a strong team player, communicate clearly, and can lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer service oriented retail environment (apparel/footwear preferred).
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to store processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of customer experience at the store per PUMA values and service standards.
  • Through effective service, help achieve sales, KPIs and profitability targets.
  • Accurately process sales transactions at checkout quickly and securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order, follow visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise and stock control.
  • Follow all policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.

YOUR MISSION
  • Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards
  • Through effective customer service, individual performance consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability targets
  • Responsible for accurately processing sales transactions at checkout, securely and quickly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the store as well as compliance with all visual merchandising guidelines according to PUMA standards
  • Responsible for the execution and processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise
  • Required to comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required in this position
YOUR TALENT
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
  • Strong team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of computer skills, basic know-how about MS Office programs
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly

The base pay for this position is $17.60-$20.60 + Benefits
