Canadian Inclusion in London, Ontario is seeking a part-time Retail Representative to drive sales, build relationships with customers, and manage product distribution and merchandising in assigned stores. Responsibilities

• Selling and Distribution: Presenting and selling booking sheets to stores; maintaining distribution of assigned products; selling new innovations; ensuring promotional and seasonal compliance within designated retail outlets.
• Merchandising excellence: Ensuring shelves are stocked with all listed product; refilling merchandiser fixtures; work with the customer to secure secondary space for displays; use POS for merchandising and pricing; rotate products for quality and freshness.
• Data Collection/Integrity: Maintain accurate data through hand-held technology as determined by the business.
• Ensuring Call-coverage: Plan and organize route schedule per company model; ensure efficient use of time and resources; adhere to time allocations by segment.
• Communication and Administration: Keep DSM updated on territory activity; maintain stock of merchandising supplies and POS materials; follow company policies; process credits/samples.
• Special Projects: May support special projects for Sales team.
• Other: All other duties and responsibilities as assigned; communicate with Sales Organization; engagement action planning.

Job Description:

The Retail Representative within an assigned territory is responsible for assigned customers. The key responsibilities are building relationships, selling, distribution and merchandising.

**The primary location of this position will be London, Ontario and surrounding Towns**

What are we looking for?

What will be your key responsibilities?

Selling and Distribution:

• Responsible for suggesting order and selling presentation programs to customers.
• Presenting and selling booking sheets to stores.
• Maintaining distribution of assigned products.
• Selling new innovation.
• Ensure promotional & seasonal compliance within designated retail outlets.

Merchandising excellence:

• Ensuring shelves are stocked with all listed product.
• Refilling of merchandiser fixtures, as well as working with the customer to secure secondary space for building of display.
• Utilize POS for effective merchandising and pricing.
• Rotation of products both on-shelf and in backroom to ensure optimal product quality and freshness.

Data Collection/Integrity:

• Maintain accurate and appropriate data through hand-held technology as determined by the business.

Ensuring Call-coverage:

• Proper territory management through customer coverage that involves efficient and effective use of time and resources.
• Must plan and organize route schedule according to company call coverage model, complying with the frequency and time-in call for each banner.
• Ensuring adherence to allocation of time based on priorities established by the segments.

Communication and Administration:

• Keep DSM up-to-date regarding territory activity.
• Maintain an adequate stock of relevant merchandising supplies and POS materials.
• Follow and adhere to company policies (time, expenses, product waste, mileage etc.)
• Follow company procedures for processing credits/samples.
• Read through and understand content of communications and priorities directed to the field.

Special Projects:

• May be responsible for supporting special projects for Sales team as assigned.

Other:

• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Communication with Sales Organization.
• Other responsibilities as defined including Engagement Action Planning.
