Job summary

Purolator is seeking a full-time Customer Care and Retail associate in Kamloops, BC. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, handling inquiries, and supporting both in-person and telephone interactions with customers and partners.

Shifts are 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with weekends possible. The position requires the ability to lift 70 lbs and to work within a retail and warehouse environment. Compensation is $21.55 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3-12 Months Customer Service Experience preferred.
  • 3-12 Months Retail Experience preferred.
  • 3-12 Months using technology/ POS system Experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70lbs./stand for 3 hour intervals.
  • Professional communication skills: oral communication (telephone and in person)
  • Written communication; and listening skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and independently an asset
  • Experience working in an environment with safety standards an asset

Description

Shift: 37.5 hrs per week. Monday- Friday, 10:30-19:00, 1 hour unpaid lunch; shifts including weekends, may vary. Flexibility required.

Pay-rate: $21.55

Customer Service Orientation -

  • Serving our customers in the most efficient and courteous manner on the telephone and in person Up-selling and cross selling Corporate Products and Services
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries Problem Solving
  • Working to resolve problem shipments
  • Working to resolve equipment and technology challenges
  • Working with Head Office, local management, Drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other Corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer service

  • Building a positive relationship with key contacts - Vendors, building tenants, etc.
