Job summary

PetSmart in Toronto is seeking a Retail Operations Lead to drive store performance, oversee merchandising, inventory, pet care operations, and opening/closing procedures while leading associates and maintaining a safe, inviting environment.

You will monitor stock, run audits, manage POS cash handling, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to a positive pet-parent experience. Full-time, evenings/weekends required; development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications and good written/verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train sales associates in merchandise handling and presentation.
• Oversee inventory, audits, stock replenishment, and markdowns.
• Operate POS systems, handle cash, and ensure policy compliance.
• Support store opening/closing procedures and associate development.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging store environment for pet parents.
