Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service Owen Sound and surrounding areas (approx 5-20 hours per month). You will travel to local retailers to perform merchandising tasks for nationally recognized brands, including creating and maintaining displays, stocking shelves, and installing POP.

Job duties include taking photos for reporting via our App, coordinating your territory by deadlines, and building strong relationships with store staff.

Qualifications

• Field-based retail merchandising experience is a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication with store managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers to perform merchandising assignments for national brands.
• Implement planograms, build and maintain displays, stock shelves and install POP.
• Take pictures and provide feedback through our Reporting App.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time, coordinating your territory efficiently.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store staff and managers.

Marketsupport Canadais seeking aRetail Merchandiserto service our Owen Sound(approx 5- 20 hours per month).
As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, you will:

• Travel to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
• Provide merchandising services, such as: implementing planograms, building/ maintaining displays, selling-in additional displays/products, installing POP, stocking/tidying shelves, auditing, etc.
• Take pictures and provide detailed and constructive feedback through our reporting App.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store mangers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work during daytime M-F approx8am to 6pm
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Comfortable speaking with managers to replenish and place orders for specific Clients
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

• Competitive hourly wage between $18.00- $19.00(based on experience), plus mileage reimbursement (when applicable).
