David Aplin Recruiting is partnering with an established retailer to open and lead a busy Edmonton store on the south side. This hands-on leadership role focuses on sales growth, team development and exceptional customer experiences.

You will own customer service, merchandising, staffing and day-to-day operations while maintaining strong store performance in a dynamic environment on the bustling south side of Edmonton.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail management experience.
• Experience within powersports, automotive or sporting goods is required.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, inventory management and merchandising.
• Experience recruiting, developing and performance‑managing employees.
• Proven ability to lead a team and hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive working environment.
• Sales‑focused with an understanding of how to improve store performance and profitability.
• Hands-on leader, highly visible on the sales floor.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with retail systems and computer-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall day-to-day operations and performance of the store.
• Drive sales and develop strategies to increase revenue and average order value.

• Forecast staffing needs and adjust scheduling and recruitment.
• Hold team members accountable to policies and performance expectations.

We’re partnering with an established retail organization to recruit an experienced Retail Store Manager to open and lead a busy retail location on the south side of Edmonton.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows how to drive sales, build a strong team and keep store operations running smoothly. You’ll have ownership over the customer experience, sales performance, inventory, merchandising, staffing and day‑to‑day operations of the location.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of retail management experience is preferred.
• Previous experience within powersports, automotive or sporting goods is required.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, inventory management and merchandising.
• Experience recruiting, developing and performance‑managing employees.
• Proven ability to lead a team and hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive working environment.
• Sales‑focused with an understanding of how to improve store performance and profitability.
• Comfortable working hands‑on and being highly visible on the sales floor.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
