Job summary

Midwest Co-op in Mount Forest, ON is seeking a Retail Inventory & Receiving Associate 1. You will accurately receive products, update costs, and support inventory accuracy through daily, weekly, and month-end reporting.

Key duties include processing purchase orders, entering items in the system, performing cycle counts, and assisting customers with sales and invoicing while maintaining smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math skills for pricing, transactions, and inventory tracking.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, inventory, receiving or administrative roles.
• Proven ability to work independently, or in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receives products and records current costs.
• Processes purchase orders and enters items into the system.
• Coordinates cycle counts and monitors inventory accuracy.
• Prepares month-end inventory reports and reconciles variances.
• Assists customers, processes invoices, and supports store operations.
