Job summary

Co-operators, a leading Canadian financial services co-operative, seeks a Retail Sales Optimization Consultant to drive profitable growth by identifying opportunities across all lines of business, including lead generation and cross-sell.

You will use data and insights to translate growth opportunities into actionable initiatives and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to execute in the field. This role strengthens sales effectiveness and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills to mentor a high-performing team.
• Proven ability to maintain independent perspective on sales decisions.
• Expert knowledge of lead generation, cross-sell and upsell strategies.
• Understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
• Ability to develop and implement targeted sales initiatives aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement targeted sales initiatives to optimize lead generation and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with AVP, Sales Growth to align initiatives with profitability targets.
• Create and refine sales programs based on data-driven insights and market trends.
• Analyze client and product data to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with Data & Analytics to gather and interpret insights.
• Oversee execution of initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Monitor performance of programs and adjust strategies to optimize results.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, GO, BI and Sales teams.
