Job summary

Walmart Canada in Toronto is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and help customers locate products and make purchases. You will keep the general merchandise area organized, restock shelves, and support with stocking and sale of goods.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting products, moving merchandise to display areas, processing returns where applicable, and assisting with Front End coverage while maintaining a clean, safe store

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers politely and assisting with product locations and purchases.
• Cover an assigned area on the sales floor.
• Zone the assigned area and move feature merchandise to its modular home.
• Support with stock replenishment and recovery from the Customer Service desk.
• Assist with Front End coverage and maintain floor communication with teammates.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company policies and completing safety tasks.
• Stock, downstock, and apply product protection as needed; set and complete modulars and shelf caps.
