Job summary

Pioneer Co-op in Saskatchewan is seeking a front-line team member to deliver excellent customer service, assist with information and product knowledge, and handle till duties. You will stock and display products, support sales across departments, and perform gas pump services while maintaining a neat and safe environment.

The role requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, company training in TDG/WHMIS and forklift, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Company-provided training includes TDG, WHMIS & Forklift Certification.
• Knowledge of hardware or farm center experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to work as part of a team or independently.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting.
• Adhere to loss prevention, security and safety policies.
• Safety Sensitive: subject to Alcohol & Substance policy.

Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service to customers, by assisting and providing information, product knowledge.
• Maintain good knowledge of till and cash-related duties.
• Assist with sales in all departments as required
• Stock & display products to present a neat, clean, well-merchandised departments.
• Selling, loading and recording sales according to all regulations in all commodities.
• Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
• Housekeeping of facilities.
• Provide gas pump services
• Assist with inventory control, receiving & merchandising of products.
• Other duties as assigned.
