Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA designation or accounting designation (CPA) is expected.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Ability to clearly communicate results to a large audience and senior leaders.
• Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Hyperion Planning & HFM and PeopleSoft.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills; see the big picture in a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and present results of key retail businesses to internal stakeholders, including variance analysis year over year or vs budget/forecast.
• Perform critical financial analysis to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Prepare supplementary information for external reporting team for quarterly reports.
• Prepare supporting documents for external auditors for quarterly reviews, interim testing and year-end audits.
• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of deliverables, including IFRS banner-level financial statements.
• Collaborate with other accounting teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Handle ad hoc projects as required.
