Job summary

Qualifications

• Working towards CPA designation.
• University degree or college diploma in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Solid accounting fundamentals.
• Ability to clearly communicate results to a large audience.
• Ability to influence and persuade different points of view.
• Strong time management and self-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
• Self-starter attitude with willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and present the results of key retail businesses to internal stakeholders, including variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy in the Company’s financial reporting.
• Prepare information for external reporting and quarterly external reports.
• Prepare supporting documents for external audits (quarterly reviews, interim testing, year-end).
• Deliver IFRS compliant banner level financial statements on time.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required.
