Job Title: Retail Data Analyst

Est. End Date: January 30, 2026 (with potential for extension)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid with 3 days a week on-site)

Pay Rates: $30-40/HR

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Retail Data Analyst / Content Analyst to support the implementation and ongoing operations of a Next Generation Product Information Management (PIM) platform for our retail industry client. This role will serve as a first point of contact for user support, ensuring product data is correctly configured for optimal digital catalog presentation.

This is a hybrid role combining technical troubleshooting, data analysis, and end-user training. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with product data systems, capable of providing actionable insights, and skilled at supporting both individual users and broader teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on the PIM platform, with deep knowledge of its features, configuration, and alignment with business outcomes.
• Provide Level 1 application support, including issue replication, troubleshooting, and identifying root causes.
• Advise users on best practices for product/item setup to ensure accurate and effective display in digital product catalogs.
• Conduct 1:1 and group training sessions for system users, enabling them to effectively navigate and use the platform.
• Perform initial diagnostics on product visibility issues by validating that all required data inputs are complete and correct.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing feedback and validating that system enhancements meet business needs.
• Analyze helpdesk and support metrics to track progress, identify recurring issues, and propose solutions to improve user experience and system efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Office tools (including VLOOKUP, IF statements, Pivot Tables, and data formatting).
• 1–3 years of experience running basic SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in user training and technical support contexts.
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to break down technical issues and find root causes.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Technical aptitude to assess and route issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail industry experience
• Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
• Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and resolution.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems.
