Walmart Canada is seeking a Consumables Associate in Surrey, BC. You will help stock merchandise and assist customers, supporting a fast-paced flow from backroom to salesfloor in a teamwork-driven environment.

You will greet customers, promote products, locate items, and assist with purchases while maintaining a safe, clean store and accurate displays. The role emphasizes customer service and working with others to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Promote products and assist with locating merchandise and purchases.
• Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management.
• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
• Receives and stocks merchandise, utilizes equipment appropriately, administers required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
• Stocks merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable. Applies product protection when required. Sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.
