The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists in supervising daily store operations, including staff scheduling, customer satisfaction, product quality, store maintenance, and health and safety compliance.

Job Duties

• Assist in supervising daily store operations.
• Oversee responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Support personnel management activities such as interviews, promotions, and performance reviews.
• Guide and instruct store associates.
• Maintain store standards and conditions.
• Assist in creating staffing schedules.
• Coordinate with store departments to ensure effective communication.
• Greet and assist customers professionally.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and legislation.
• Handle customer complaints appropriately.
• Ensure health, safety, and security regulations are followed.
• Oversee inventory management.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• QCW and Sell Safe certification (mandatory).
• At least 3 years retail experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in retail.
