ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations and team leadership. You will drive daily store performance, motivate employees, and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, visual merchandising, and executing sales strategies to contribute to store profitability and success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, motivate employees to meet sales goals, deliver excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
• Operations Management: Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and operational processes. Support peak operations, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Sales Management: Implement strategies to drive revenue, set expectations, and exceed sales targets.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred
• Sales skills to drive revenue
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
