Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager in Richmond, BC who will set the tone for the store and team. You will drive profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development, while coaching leads and brand associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with the General Manager to execute store strategy, develop staff, and lead a high-performance team to achieve performance goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer focus and operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and implement action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and monitor retail landscape and competition.
• Promote community involvement and leverage omni‑channel to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
