Sport Chek is seeking an Advisor Lead to engage customers and support store management with shift oversight in the assigned department. You will help drive sales, mentor staff, and ensure smooth store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail experience.
• Proven ability to build and manage a daily plan for the department and store.
• Previous experience training and mentoring employees.

Responsibilities

• Set an example for active selling behaviors and techniques.
• Oversee store tasks including merchandising, pricing, restocking, and seasonal changes.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to part-time team members.
• Help ensure daily store sales goals are met.
• Manage store operations in the absence of management.
• Promote loyalty programs and customer acquisition activities.
