Job summary

Sport Chek in Canada seeks an Advisor Lead to engage customers and support the store management team with shift oversight in your department and other areas as needed. You will mentor part-time team members, drive active selling, merchandising, pricing, restocking and sign-off on store tasks, and help hit daily sales goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail experience.
• Experience training and mentoring employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with active selling behaviours.
• Oversee store tasks: merchandising, pricing, restocking, seasonal changeovers, inventory, and signing.
• Provide mentorship to part-time team members.
• Help achieve daily store sales goals.
• Manage store operations in the absence of management.
• Promote Sport Chek loyalty programs and other customer acquisition activities.
