Job summary

Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, seeks a Retail Advisor (Inbound Field Specialist) for Evans Location to be the face of the company as customers pick up or sell their vehicle. You will ensure a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer and transportation role.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail in vehicle inspection, and the ability to handle paperwork and CRM notes accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years in automotive industry is an asset.
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
• G Driver's License valid in Ontario.
• Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver’s abstract.
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Retail Advisor (Inbound Field Specialist) to be the face of our company at our Evans Location! Since our entire car-buying process is online, you’ll be the first Clutch employee our customers meet when they pick up or sell their vehicle. You'll have the freedom to go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer and transportation role.

What You’ll Do

• Delivering a uniquely special experience to each and every one of our customers.
• A major part of this job is having exceptional customer service skills, where you’ll be the face of the company in addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint throughout their appointment
• Need a sharp eye for detail as you inspect vehicles, carefully assessing both cosmetic and mechanical aspects to identify potential issues, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to our customers.
• You will be accurately and efficiently completing customer paperwork as well as taking thorough notes in our customer tracking system inside our new facility!
• You’ll also be a team player by assisting other team members with various tasks as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• 1+ years experience in the automotive industry an asset
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Comfortable driving longer distances.
• Have automotive experience and a passion for cars & comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• License: A G Drivers License (valid in Ontario)
• Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. There is a 4 weekday plus 1 weekend date working schedule

It’d Be Great If You Have

• Valid OMVIC License: Don’t have one yet? No problem! We’ll help you obtain your OMVIC license as one of the perks of working with us.
• A passion for cars and the automotive industry
• Experience with warranty products so that you can answer any question that arise during the process

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $24 per hour
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plans include healthcare, dental care, vision care, prescriptions, life insurance and dependent coverage; start from day 1. (Applicable for Permanent Full-Time)
