First Onsite Property Restoration in Canada is seeking a hands-on Mover/Labourer to help move, pack, and prep contents for restoration projects. You’ll work with a motivated crew, handle packing and lifting, and use mobile apps to document work while keeping sites clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and construction or cleaning techniques.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
• Proficient in using mobile devices and relevant applications.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective communication skills and a positive team attitude.
• Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract depending
• Fit test and other safety certifications
• Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear

Responsibilities

• As a Mover/Labourer, you ensure that the contents and belongings of our clients are safely removed and packed so that the necessary rebuild and repair work can be done.
• While packing and moving boxes as well as loading furniture, you are sure to take great care.
• Working with the Encircle app, you list and document restorable and non-restorable contents both in the warehouse and on customer sites.
• At the completion of the construction project, you are responsible for moving customer property to their previous condition in a timely manner.
• You conduct general everyday cleaning in addition to pre-construction and post-construction cleaning.
• Both at the warehouse and on customer sites, you clean household contents.
• You enjoy working with your hands as you participate in your cleaning, packing, and moving responsibilities.
• Plus, you enjoy interacting with our customers and providing them with excellent customer service.
