Job summary

Eataly Sherway Gardens in Toronto is seeking a Restaurant Table Support team member for full-time on-site work. You will ensure timely, accurate delivery of meals and keep tables organized and clean to enhance the dining experience.

The role requires 1+ year in a fast-paced restaurant, strong organization, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays with CAD $17.60 hourly plus tips.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil
• Delivers meals from kitchen to tables ensuring accuracy of each course
• Transports beverages from bar to tables and maintains filled water glasses
• Clears used dishes and silverware between and after courses
• Maintains cleanliness of tables/chairs and resets vacated tables
• Assists servers and understands menu items' descriptions and ingredients
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

A Table Support Team Member is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience in Eataly’s restaurants through timely and accurate delivery of meals as well as the organization and cleaning of tables. Reports to the Floor Managers and GM of Restaurants.

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil
• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course to be delivered is complete and accurate
• Runs beverage from bar to guest tables and makes sure water glasses remain filled
• Removes used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table
• Maintains cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables
• Assists servers when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.60 hourly, plus tips
