Responsibilities:

• Recommend action plans towards the achievement of restaurant budget.
• Ensure completion of accurate and timely periodic financial statements for restaurant in conjunction with the corporate accountant.
• Oversee the ongoing development of the Management team (including ongoing feedback/coaching, and Performance Reviews).
• Encourage and perpetuate Bier Markt’s culture through effective leadership.
• Oversee the application/execution of front line training programs.
• Oversee the strict application of Bier Markt’s principles and standards to improve guest experience.
• Oversee the execution of national marketing initiatives.
• Ensure restaurant adheres to all legislative and government guidelines (i.e. proper and safe food and beverage service, AGCO, Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards, etc.).

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Manager in an upscale dining environment with similar sales volume.
• Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or business related field.
• Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs.
• Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage.
• Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct others.
