Job summary

A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. in Kamloops, BC is seeking a permanent full-time Assistant Manager to start immediately. The role involves supervising daily restaurant operations, supporting the Manager, and ensuring adherence to A&W standards, WorkSafeBC, and health regulations.

The position offers a 40-hour work week with English as the language of communication. Compensation starts at $45,000 per year with potential to reach $50,975, plus a potential bonus of 7.5% of salary and health

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management within the last 10 years.
Secondary School Certificate or equivalent required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic accounting or administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in supervising daily operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Review weekly financials, manage costs, and support budgeting.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff; oversee scheduling and payroll compliance.
Ensure guest satisfaction through high standards of service and cleanliness.
Maintain knowledge of HACCP/food safety and company standards.
