Job Description:

General Information:

Work with transformer factories across North America to manage and improve their planning and scheduling processes. Drive training and standardization in Sales and Operations Planning, Master Planning, and detailed scheduling processes throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and coach demand planners, operations planners, master schedule planners, and material planners. Develop the overall competency of the organization. Contribute to initiatives establishing standards and best practices.
  • Provide necessary training and assist in developing standard processes and best practices.
  • Monitor standard work execution in factories. Develop and oversee dashboards, track schedule execution, load leveling, and capacity analysis.
  • Participate in factory S&OP meetings, promoting standardization and ensuring active participation and compliance from contributors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate information collection. Facilitate smooth information flow from product review to demand and operations reviews. Verify consistency of all information used in the S&OP processes.
  • Monitor KPIs related to the engagement and outcomes of the S&OP process. Collaborate with contributors to improve the process and align it with business priorities.
  • Promote ITM across the organization. Support training and development of strong RCCM analysis skills.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of manufacturing experience.
  • Preferred ERP experience in the PP module.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a global value chain.
  • Strong analysis and independent decision-making skills.
  • Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Organized and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency when necessary.
  • Proactive in driving projects and leading others.
  • Employs root cause analysis approach.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and proven accomplishments.
