Job summary

Serenity Respite Inc. in Grande Prairie is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide respite care for children and young adults aged 2-17. The role is casual, with evenings and weekends on-site, offering meaningful daily support and companionship.

You will assist with daily activities, follow medication procedures, help with mobility and transfers, and perform light housekeeping while keeping families informed and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children and young adults (2–17) is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and G-tubes.
• Strong communication and caring attitude.
• Commitment to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care and support with daily activities.
