Job summary

Serenity Respite, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care for children and young adults aged 2-17 in Edmonton. The role includes before-school and after-school care, full days during PD days and school breaks, with responsibilities across daily activities, mobility support, and safety checks.

You will work closely with families to promote wellbeing and independence. Applicants should have caregiving experience, a valid First Aid, and a recent Vulnerable Sector

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving.
• Knowledge of medication procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and assist.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care and support with daily activities.
• Administer medications as instructed.
• Prepare meals meeting dietary needs.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes.
• Offer companionship and plan engaging activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
