Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy professional to initiate prescribed respiratory therapy in Medigas offices and client homes, ensuring assessment, education, and follow-up on equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Current registration as RRT or RN; LPN/RPN with current registration may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience; homecare and sales experience are assets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage a busy workload.
• High attention to detail, results-driven, and ability to work under pressure with urgency.
• Clear driving record/abstract and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as defined by WHO guidelines.

Responsibilities

• You will initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy in the Medigas office and in clients’ homes, ensuring assessment, education, documentation, and follow-up for equipment performance and client compliance
• Deliver and exchange respiratory equipment in clients’ homes, involving lifting up to 60 pounds
• Conduct in-home client visits, including long-distance travel, and in-office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients
• Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training sessions with various community partners
• In this role, you will promote Medigas products and services to referral sources and within the medical / healthcare community
• Build and maintain high-quality relationships with clients and referral sources
• You are responsible for performing all job duties in compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Support the training and development of new employees as needed and participate in a regular on-call rotation
