Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority in Prince Albert is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Victoria Hospital. The role reports to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU, within the Acute & Critical Care Respiratory Services department. Preference is given to HSAS members according to the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Education required includes a Respiratory Therapy diploma and ACLS certification. CSRT registration or eligibility is expected; position is full-time regular (FTE 1) with 448

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• CSRT registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate the respiratory service and provide safe, accurate treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac problems.
• Report to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU; support the unit as needed.
• Possibly eligible for Recruitment/Retention Incentives as per collective agreement.

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the operation of the respiratory service and provides effective, safe and accurate treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac problems. The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
