Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for an Occupational Therapist at Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert. The role focuses on rehabilitation across ages, performing assessments and treatments per established procedures and standards. Regional scope includes traveling to patient sites as required.

Preference will be given to HSAS members under the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement terms. This is a full-time temporary position with a 1.0 FTE and a 112-hour rotation over 3 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy required and eligible for registration.
• Registered Occupational Therapist with Saskatchewan license or eligibility.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license is an asset.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Therapies, this position provides a clinical role within the department and is concerned with the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages. The Occupational Therapist completes occupational therapy assessments and treatments according to departmental procedures and established standards of practice and in accordance with the mission statement, goals and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
